Amanda Lemos and Iasmin Lucindo face off for generations at UFC 313
Two representatives of the 'Brazilian Squadron' will compete on the UFC 313 card. According to the team's reporting team, Ag Fight, strawweights (52 kg) Amanda Lemos and Iasmin Lucindo will face a generational duel at the event scheduled to take place on March 8in Las Vegas (USA).
At 37 years old, Amanda Lemos has been among the best in the category for a few years. The veteran even competed for the strawweight title in 2023, but ended up being surpassed by champion Zhang Weili. Since then, the woman from Pará – top 5 in the ranking – beat Mackenzie Dern and was defeated by Virna Jandiroba, respectively, and continues in search of a new race for the 'title shot'.
On the other hand, Iasmin Lucindo is on the rise in the organization chaired by Dana White. After debuting in Ultimate with a defeat to Mexican Yazmin Jauregui, in 2022, the Brazilian promise, just 22 years old, embarked on an impressive positive streak, with four victories, which took her to seventh place in the strawweight rankings.

Duels between Brazilian women in the UFC strawweight division are becoming more and more constant. This is because, despite having Chinese champion Zhang Weili, the lightest category of women's MMA in the sport's main company has a huge contingent of Brazilian athletes in its top 15 list.
