Bruno Bulldog is dominated and loses by knockout at UFC Tampa

Bruno Silva saw his good phase in MMA come to an end at UFC Tampa and in a violent way. At the event held this Saturday (14), the Brazilian faced Manel Kape and was dominated in the octagon. After receiving numerous blows from the Angolan, 'Bulldog' couldn't resist and ended up being knocked out in the third round.

It is worth noting that Bruno was packed with four victories, but was no match for his opponent. Furthermore, the athlete, ranked 12th in the UFC's flyweight (57 kg) rankings, wasted his chance to join the division's top-10. On the other hand, Kape recovered in MMA. Excited, the Angolan, number nine on the category leaderboard, challenged champion Alexandre Pantoja to a rematch.

Bruno Gustavo da Silva, 34 years old, is an MMA veteran. The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2011 and debuted in the UFC in 2019. In the sport, 'Bulldog' built a record consisting of 14 wins, six losses and two draws.

The fight

The fighters started the duel with everything. More technical and faster, Kape had the advantage in the exchange of blows. However, Bruno, more powerful, was in danger and even shook the Angolan with a punch. In response, Kape landed a low kick that destabilized the Brazilian. At a disadvantage when standing, Bruno tried to take down his opponent, but was unsuccessful. Sharp in his striking, the Angolan scored in the fight with his punches and kicks.

In the second round, Kape continued to exude technique in his striking. In his attack, the Angolan threw so many punches that he made Bruno spin around the octagon. Soon after, the Brazilian landed an illegal kick on his opponent for the third time in the fight and ended up losing a point. Confident, the Angolan intensified his provocations and continued throwing clean punches and kicks at his rival. With a bleed on his face, Bruno tried to attack his opponent, but ended up receiving more blows.

In the third and final stage, Bruno, at a clear disadvantage in the duel, returned more aggressive. However, Kape did not slow down and continued punishing the Brazilian. Fast, the Angolan applied constant blitzes to Bruno, who couldn't withstand the number of punches he received and collapsed in the octagon.
