UFC: Du Plessis exudes confidence for rematch with Strickland

Dricus du Plessis finally discovered who his next opponent will be. In the first fight between them, held in January, the South African defeated Strickland via split decision, a result that sparked discussion in the MMA community, becoming middleweight champion. Willing to silence his critics and prove his superiority to the 'bad boy', Dricus promised to inflict a severe punishment on him in the Octagon.

In MMA since 2013, the athlete was KSW champion and built a record consisting of 22 victories, 20 of which came via fast track (11 by submission and nine by knockout), and two defeats. His most impressive results were over Darren Till, Derek Brunson, Israel Adesanya, Robert Whittaker, Roberto Soldic and Sean Strickland.
